Substack Hack - Earn Real Money with LOW Views [PROOF]
Don't forget... The goal is to earn money - not "subscribers"
First, the bad news.
It’s harder than ever to get a lot of views and subscribers (on Substack or any channel).
This is largely because it's easier than ever to mass-produce content and AI slop.
So instead of focusing on “trying to get a bunch of views”, switch your focus to earning more money.
I have many projects going on right now. When I find something that works, I like to share it with my Substack readers.
I’ve found Substack to be great for building a loyal audience of readers.
But Substack sucks for SEO, which is one reason I’d never rely on Substack only.
I hope you read carefully through this article to see the actual numbers of what is going on. Don’t just skim it.
Then try to apply this idea to what you are doing.
I used Medium to write these 2 articles:
In that article, I shared how I’m earning more than $60 USD per day from YouTube ads after only the first week of being a partner. (I became a partner in less than a month after starting a new channel). I use Podsplice to record myself and my screen while I react to a YouTube video. It’s super easy to make these videos.
Now look at the recent stats from that article:
You can see I got only 32 views and 12 “reads” on this article so far this month. But all of this traffic is targeted search traffic from Google. People are reading this article and buying Podsplice for $15 bucks a month. It’s a great deal for them, and it’s great for me too because my brother and I created Podsplice.
You can see I only have 30 views and 19 reads of this article so far this month, but these are also converting to paying members of Podsplice.
You can see that the vast majority of this traffic is from Google.
Also, these articles are included in Google’s AI search results - generating even more traffic and revenue for me.
Look at the screenshot. You can see a link to Podsplice, and you can also see my Medium article on the right-hand side (which is why it is showing up in AI search)
I also record and embed videos into my articles, like this one:
These videos also show up in Google and YouTube searches.
So far, this video only has 55 views, but it’s generating real revenue because it is targeted.
If I stuck to Substack alone, I’d never be able to get the targeted traffic I want for Podsplice. I also wouldn’t be able to make $60 USD per day on YouTube ads.
So the idea is that you need to venture outside of Substack.
I’m not suggesting you give it up, I’m just saying you should do other things on top of it.
