I’ve been experimenting with how to get the best responses from ChatGPT and other LLMs.
I developed a “super prompt” concept.
It actually works…
Before I tell you how to do it, I need to quickly explain the idea behind it, and why it works.
I’ve seen a lot of people arguing over which LLM is the best.
Is ChatGPT better than Claude, or vice-versa?
It doesn’t matter!
The super prompt idea is to use both ChatGPT AND Claude.
ChatGPT and Claude are both great, and they are both different enough to add value.
Think about a board meeting at a company discussing an important decision.
They will get the opinions of everyone at the table before making a decision.
Why not just choose the smartest person and ask them to decide?
Because multiple people will be able to add unique and helpful insights.
The exact same thing is true here.

What is the Super Prompt?
The idea is that I will ask ChatGPT AND Claude the same question and then use both of their answers to make improvements.
Here is how I do it. (I’ll give a specific example below)
Ask ChatGPT and Claude the same thing.
Cut and paste ChatGPT’s answer and put that into Claude (and vice versa)
Ask each model to identify parts of the answer that the other model did better.
Ask each model to answer the question again, but this time make a “super answer” that includes the best aspects of the other model.
Example of the “Super Prompt” Method
Give me a detailed strategy to help grow my email list as quickly as possible. I’m currently writing on Medium, Substack, and posting videos on YouTube. Give me an action plan and a posting schedule.
Ok…
It will make this article far too long if I cut and paste everything in here.
But both Claude and ChatGPT said they “learned” something from the other model.
There were strong points in each model.

In the end, the “Super Prompt” answer had better suggestions than either original answer.
One cool thing about Claude and ChatGPT is that they aren’t emotionally sensitive.
They don’t get their feelings hurt if another LLM comes up with a better idea.
They just think “oh, cool idea, I’ll include that”.
Both LLMs also admitted this “Super Prompt” makes sense and is a great strategy to use regularly
Try it out for yourself.
You can also adapt it and include responses from Google’s Gemini (or any other model).

I agree asking different models the same thing is helpful. I've been playing around with asking Llama 3.2 and other models the same thing. I find ChatGPT has the same robotic writing style normally so it is good to get other model's opinions. It would be nice to have different AI agents with different models working together.
