Leonardo AI "Flow State"- My Secret AI Image Hack
How I use Leonardo AI "Flow State" + Cartario to create the best AI images
Leonardo AI just announced its new “Flow State”.
It is one of the most impressive AI image generation advancements I’ve seen in a long time.
I have been using Flow State plus Cartario to create the best custom AI images I’ve ever seen.
What is the Leonardo AI “Flow State”?
When you enter a prompt to create an image with “flow state”, Leonardo will automatically generate many images, using your prompt as a base.
Both free and paid users have access to this feature. (Free users can generate 150 images per day using flow state)
Here is a screenshot of me using Flow State
Here is the prompt I used to generate these images:
Photo of a 22-year-old blonde female model with a girl-next-door look wearing a t-shirt outdoors
The more I scroll down, the more images I see with Flow State (be careful though, as you scroll, you use up your credits)
Here is another screenshot after I scrolled down a little
Again, these images are all from the same prompt.
You can see that there is a lot of variety and diversity in these images.
That is because Leonardo automatically generates different prompt variations of the prompt you originally entered.
You will notice that some of the images look awesome! They spark creativity and give you images and ideas you can use.

My Secret Leonardo AI Flow State Hack
When I want to generate an incredible-looking AI image, I first enter my prompt into Leonardo (using Flow State).
I then scroll down to see the first 50 (at least) images.
I save the images I like into my Leonardo “Library”
(This is easy to do with one click)
I can click on an image I like to see the prompt that was generated automatically with Flow State.
Note: Here is where you go to access Flow State
Here is an example I did:
I thought the lighting and style of this photo looked cool, so I saved the image and I found out the prompt that Leonardo used to make it.
Leonardo’s prompt:
“Photo of a beautiful 22-year-old blonde female model in a t-shirt with iridescent colors and strong, hard light creating harsh shadows. Iridescent reflections, emphasizing her features.”
Do you notice what Leonardo did?
They took my original prompt and added to it. In this case, they added this part:
“with iridescent colors and strong, hard light creating harsh shadows. Iridescent reflections, emphasizing her features.”
When I create my own AI image prompts, I would never think to write something like, “with iridescent colors and strong, hard light creating…”
I would guess that less than 0.1% of people could ever create a prompt like this on their own.
But now that I know the “trick”, I can use that same prompt to create an awesome-looking image using my own custom AI models.
I went on Cartario and I used one of my custom AI-Influencer models, Becca.
Here is my original picture of Becca. (I created this image with Cartario — using the Flux 1.1 high res model.)
I used a few prompt ideas I got from Leonardo Flow State.
Now using Cartario, I generated these new images of Becca.
I got all 4 of these image ideas from Leonardo’s Flow State.
I then used Cartario to generate about 12 images with each prompt, and I chose the best ones for each.
You can try this method yourself by signing up at Leonardo and then signing up at Cartario to use our AI influencer models (or create your own)
I also recommend you check out my new AI image generator, Cartario. You can use it to make super realistic AI headshots of yourself like these:
